    Principal Sherrill's call-out script:

    Good Evening Northview Senior Parents,

This is Mr. Sherrill , Principal of Northview High School.  On June 24th at 2:00 PM, your senior child will have the opportunity to participate in Northview High School’s graduation ceremony at the Pensacola Bay Center.  Due to COVID-19, we will be adhering to recommended local, state and national guidelines in order to protect the health and well-being of the graduate and guests. It is recommended that guests  65 and older do not attend.  The graduation ceremony will be live streamed for those who are not able to attend. Additional details will be sent to each senior in your school email account.   Information will also be posted on our school website and on our Northview Facebook page.   Graduation will be limited to twelve (12) guests  per graduate in the Bay Center.  Social distancing will be adhered to; therefore, you must follow the seating requirement of two sets of six (6) seats grouped per family.   If fewer than twelve (12) people per family attend, the remaining seats are not available to other people in the Bay Center.   You must identify the guests attending by completing the Google Form link that will be available on your Senior Google Classroom Page, Northview website, and our Northview Facebook Page.  Each senior should complete this form by June 7th.   Tickets for guests will be distributed later to each student, so our students can give them to their guests. Only guests with a ticket will be allowed to enter the Bay Center.  Lost tickets cannot be replaced.

The District and Bay Center are recommending you do not bring bags/purses—only keys and cell phone. No other items will be allowed in the Bay Center. If it is medically necessary to carry a bag, you may do so and are encouraged to carry a clear bag.  All patrons and bags, including purses, are subject to a security search.  At no time can large crowds congregate; therefore, limiting items into the Bay Center will expedite entry into the event and allow social distancing. Tickets and graduation protocol information will be ready for pick up at the school at a later date.  I will provide that information next week in a call out.

Our goal is to celebrate your student’s graduation from Northview High School and your assistance in making this a successful, safe event is very important and appreciated.  I miss all of our seniors, and I am very excited about seeing y’all very soon.

    Take care, and GO CHIEFS!!
